Great vibe and excellent beer, just eat before you arrive. Worst burger ever, even for a food truck. We were expecting great beer and great food…got great beer and a frozen hamburger patty. Otherwise, great experience for beer only. FHB, do better with your food truck!!!!!!!

My husband and I recently popped in on a beautiful Saturday. We loved the permanent food truck and we also purchased a bag of coffee (excellent merch selection too). Of course, tons of options on tap and in the case.

The beer here is as close to fresh as it gets - brewed onsite! Outstanding selection of year around favorites & seasonal brews. Want some food? Great wings and things from the near permanent food truck, can be ordered from the bar on the same tab. TOAST TAB is the POS used. My favorite - FROSTBITE is a black IPA. Service is fast & friendly. Daily specials from Trivia, Music, Yoga, Run Club all meet different days. Consult website for exact schedule.

Hat does liquid friendly taste like? FOOTHILLS BREWING BEER, that’s what! We visited through Harvest Host and discovered an amazing experience. Super-friendly staff, DELICIOUS beer (from the light Pilsner to the knife-and-fork Sexual Chocolate stout), and - what!? - a gourmet food truck serving not-just-bar fare menu. I mean - a GOOD TIME ALL AROUND. What a lucky find for us travellers-through. I feel like we won the local taste lottery. Thank you, FHB for your gracious, friendly service, fun times, and crazy good brew!!!

I’ve been to the tasting room a few times now to grab a beer and check out the live music. The food truck sells some pretty good food. The brews are always amazing. Live music has always been enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a laid back vibe.

A lovely evening at Foothills, we arrived during "movie night" on the weekend. A lot of people in lawn chairs in the parking lot watching a big screen that might possibly have been showing, and I'm not kidding here, cat videos. Over 100 people out there for that. We were inside where there was a live band playing loudly, some comfy seats in the back gave us some distance and enough quiet to be able to hold a conversation. I enjoyed a Foothills Torch Pilsner and it was awesome. Mrs. K., who doesn't drink alcohol, thoroughly enjoyed one of their Little Frees hemp-infused sparkling water. Enjoyed it so much that we bought a four-pack of that to bring home. With the drinks, a box of sushi from the Sushi Empire Food Truck. Delicious. Much fun had here and I will definitely return. Awesome!

Welcome to the Foothills Brewing Tasting Room, a true gem located at 3800 Kimwell Dr, Winston-Salem, NC. This vibrant destination not only boasts an impressive selection of craft beers brewed right on-site, but also offers an inviting atmosphere that is perfect for enjoying good company and live music.

The moment you step inside, you're greeted by an array of options on tap, featuring both year-round classics and seasonal brews that cater to every palate. As one visitor noted, the Frostbite, a delightful black IPA, is particularly worth a try—an experience that captures the essence of freshness that Foothills prides itself on.

However, it's essential to note the mixed reviews regarding the food options. While the craft beers have received high praise, diners have expressed some disappointment with the offerings from the on-site food truck. As one customer candidly stated, the burger was not up to par—something that the establishment could improve upon for a more rounded culinary experience. Yet, for many patrons, including those who enjoyed wings and other bites, the reliably fast and friendly service offsets a few culinary missteps.

The atmosphere of the tasting room is its standout feature—filled with a lovely ambiance that welcomes both music lovers and dog owners alike. As noted by visitors, the venue regularly hosts engaging events such as trivia nights, yoga sessions, and run clubs, adding a lively twist to the beer tasting experience.

So, whether you’re there for the exceptional brews, the community vibe, or to simply unwind after a long day, Foothills Brewing Tasting Room should be on your list. Just remember to grab a bite elsewhere if you’re looking for a meal that matches the caliber of the beers. Come for the craft beers, stay for the experience.
